Game shuts down whenever I try to go to inventory or open a chest. This started after trying to grab diamond spikes out of cheat mode in NEI. Infinity Modpack

It sounds like you have a bugged item in your inventory. Before attempting any of the following, make a backup of your entire save, just in case something goes wrong. Your best option would be to close the game, find your [player uid].dat file and level.dat files for this save, and edit them with an NBT editor to remove the diamond spikes (possibly referred to as SpikeSword in the files). If you have a recent backup, you could instead restore those two files from the backup. Otherwise, using /kill might work as you'd no longer have the item in your inventory, or it might make the game crash whenever you try to go to that location. If all else fails, jumping into the void should work, since your items will be completely erased upon death.

It could also be that the problem is with NEI trying to display an item, so temporarily disabling NEI could possibly resolve the issue. This can be done simply from the FTB launcher before opening the pack using the "Edit Mod Pack" button
