So I started ThaumCraft just last night and didn't play for long, and I started doing some research today. I did the research expertise, and then correctly did the research mastery, and it won't give me the discovery. I restarted the world once or twice. then restarted Magic World a couple of times and then my computer, hoping it was some kind of glitch that fix itself, but it didn't. please help!

It doesn't look like Ordo and Motus are connecting in the lower-right. You should double-check what Motus is made of in your pack, since newer versions of Thaumcraft use Aer and Aqua for Motus rather than Aer and Ordo.

I have one more question to ask, I try to create herba but it doesn't let me I combine terra with victus and yet it doesn't give it to me

Have you tried the Terra+Granum combination? I think Terra+Victus is a very new change, and the version you're using may still have the older 'recipe'.
