Yesterday everything was working fine. Today I logged into my single player game and everything seemed fine until I tried to craft something in my ME Crafting Terminal. Everything is still there and it works just fine in all other ways but it is not registering any of the patterns in the Molecular Assembler Chamber. It is still connected and the ME Controller is showing the entire chamber is still in the system and drawing power. But none of the patterns in the chamber are showing up in the Crafting Terminal!

Any ideas why?

Check the settings on the left of the terminal GUI. You may have clicked on "show all" and changed it to "show stored". If so, click through to "show craftable" and back to "show all" (possibly "show stored/craftable").

I figure I'll reply to this old post, since a similar problem recently occurred for me. Any help or insight into this problem would be a blessing.

On my Agrarian Skies map, I have a complete AE crafting system with more than enough power and many encoded recipes that I have used countless times. However, upon last logging in, the crafting no longer worked. It was just... dead. It's not that I couldn't see the crafting options; they were there, but when I ordered it to make something it would just sit there, unresponsive. I'll try to describe the process step-by-step:

I can open up my ME system, see all my items as well as all the things I can craft. Say I want a glowstone block. I have hundreds of glowstone dust in my system and an already encoded recipe, so it should be easy. I click the "craft" button, and order 5, 10, whatever. Then I wait. Nothing happens. Normally this is practically instantaneous for such a simple recipe. I look in my crafting cpu to see what's holding up the process. Apparently, nothing. There are my glowstone blocks, listed up in the right-hand corner of the menu to show that they are indeed queued up. But they're not going anywhere. No sub-crafting processes are shown, no needed materials are shown. It's just not doing anything. The problem also exists for my automated smelting, pulverizing, etc.

Things I've tried to fix the problem:

Checked my cable connections. Yup, everything's hooked up properly.

Break and replace ALL import/export busses. No change.

Dismantle and reassemble my crafting terminal. Still nothing.

Dismantle and replace my actual terminal. Nope.

Make sure the recipe was actually encoded. I also took it out and put it back in.

Relogged. The problem persists.

Cancelling the earlier command and trying some new ones. Those ones don't work either.

The solution listed above doesn't solve it, because I can still see what's available to craft, it's just that I can't actually craft it.

I honestly have no idea what's going on or how to fix it, which is infuriating because it would basically grind all my Agrarian Skies progress to a halt. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or better yet, have a suggestion on how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've seen similar problems in Agrarian Skies, and attribute it to Extra Cells since I've not seen the problem elsewhere. Luckily, the solution is simple: break and replace the ME Controller to reset the AE system.

Thanks a million! As it so happens, that's the one thing I didn't break. :)

Edit: No, just kidding, that didn't work either. That's rather disappointing...

Edit #2: Oh my god, I am so sorry to have wasted your time. As it turns out, I'm a complete idiot. The computer couldn't craft any new things because it was totally full. I had assumed orange lights on the storage thing meant that they were only partially full, but I only just figured out that it means that they can't take any more types. I believe the technical word for my ignorance would be, "being a great big dumbo." Sorry to have cluttered this thread with stupid problems, hope you'll forgive me!
